Neal's hometown, Fulton, MO, was the model for Raleigh.

His aviation career spans 35 years. All the fun went out of flying on 9/11/2001.

Back in the 1990s, some Washington bureaucrat decided FAA Inspectors needed to track down every airplane in the FAA Registry to verify its ownership and airworthiness. Neal drew Lucky Lindy's personal airplane, which hung from cables in the Lambert terminal for as long as anyone could remember.

FAA HQ didn't like his report. "Beats the hell out of me."

About us

Neal and Mary and their chocolate lab Ginger live in a grand old house built in 1890. It was Mary's childhood home. Some day they hope to finish restoring it and replacing everything under the roof. Then they will start on the roof. Their children are grown and have homes and families of their own.
